Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
I do not currently accept any insurance at this time. I pride myself on the quality of the care I provide. Being a private pay clinician allows me to provide higher-quality care, have more control over treatment, and be flexible with my approach to individualize treatment to my clients. The financial and administrative burdens that come with insurance networks for single private practice providers takes away from the specialized and individualized care I provide. I am happy to provide you a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
What are your rates?
Diagnostic Intake Assessment: 80 minutes is $275
Individual Therapy Hour: 50 minutes is $200
How do you set your rates?
I have worked in mental health for 10 years as of 2025. I have extensive experience and clinical training in providing evidenced based care to individuals. I participate in on going clinical consults with other experts at my level to make sure I am providing the most effective treatment. While you may only be in my office during the clinical hour, you are also paying for the pre-session preparation (reviewing past sessions, revising treatment plans, setting up activities or exposures) and post session (administrative work, report writing, updating clinical records). I also am apart of multiple clinical and research organizations and attend trainings and continued education courses. My rates reflect all of the costs associated at my level of expertise as well as the necessary overhead and operational needs.
What if I’m not ready or too scared to do an exposure?
I won’t lie, exposure therapy is HARD WORK but I will never force you to do an exposure. Exposures should be value-based and functional. Meaning your exposures get you back to living your life how you want to live it. We will start with psychoeducation and gradually build your motivation and confidence. My goal is for every client to feel empowered, in control, supported, and safe while getting their life back!!
